FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

People have a lot of questions when we tell them that we have a flock of sheep in a metro area. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions. This isn't going to answer everything, but it's a great start. You can always contact us with other questions!

How do you pronounce your name?

We often have people look at our name and come up with great pronunciations (Who's Sally?) Well, a ewe (pronounced "you") is a female sheep, and since we don't use chemicals that harm the universe we are an environmentally friendly (green) alternative to weed and kudzu control we are Ewe-niversally Green!

Is environmental clearing expensive?

Not at all. It is difficult to give you a price over the phone or with an email, but we want to work with you. We will visit your property, discuss your vegetation goals, and give you a free estimate. Our prices are often less expensive than if you used a chemicals or harmful herbicides.

Can I hire sheep for my property?

Ewe-niversally Green can accommodate the needs and goals of small private backyards to large community or public projects. Almost anyone can participate in this exciting way of keeping our communities green.

What does the flock eat?

Our sheep and goats eat kudzu, poison ivy, English ivy, privet, grass, and pretty much anything else that is green. There are a few things that they can't eat like rhododendrons and azaleas, but we can evaluate the situation when we give you an estimate.

How do I take care of the sheep?

You don't have to worry -- we visit the sheep on a daily basis, to make sure the fences are secure and that all is well. We even supply temporary solar powered fences that allow us to contain the sheep in almost any location.

The sheep are vaccinated and dewormed regularly to promote their health and your safety. If one of the animals happens to get sick or hurt, it will be removed from your property.
