WHY USE SHEEP?

     Sheep can be used effectively in almost any location or terrain type, especially in terrain too rocky or steep for human or machine clearing. Highly trained handlers with their loyal herding dogs manage and move the sheep so they are kept from overgrazing. Sheep make a wonderful, green alternative for weed abatement and brush control. 

     Sheep are environmentally friendly, and efficiently and effectively clear areas containing noxious and invasive weeds helping to restore balance to native vegetation and animal life. Sheep can be of significant benefit to the environment without any of the damaging effects of heavy machinery or toxic herbicides.

     Additionally, there is less noise. Which would you rather hear - loud equipment or the quiet grazing and gentle "baaaah"of sheep?
